ESTABLISHING THE DAS ORGANIZATION TO REDUCE GREENHOUSE EMISSIONS
On the morning of January 4, 2024, Carbon Credit Trading Platform Joint Stock Company (CCTPA) and Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club held a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement to establish the Decarbonization Acting And Suporting Alliance organization. (DAS).
This cooperation has common goals:
☑️ Develop and implement projects – programs on ‘Climate change response’ and/or ‘Reducing greenhouse gas emissions’.
This program includes exchange activities – promoting increased awareness and thinking of businesses/organizations on reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the framework of implementing green projects – sustainable projects on environmental protection. deal with climate change.
☑️ Promote high-tech projects ‘Carbon capture and storage’ (CCS) in ‘Greenhouse gas emission reduction’ projects.
☑️ Strategic and tactical cooperation with Enterprises/Corporations from Japan in local development plans: Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh…
☑️ Promote renewable energy projects, green projects – sustainable projects in the Central coastal areas.
